NeoCon 2026:
Boss Design in Suite 323
Momentum
For NeoCon 2026, we welcomed Boss Design as a new furniture partner, with a prominent placement in our Chicago showroom, Suite 323 at THE MART.
Inspired by six distinct ethos—each reflecting a different perspective on rhythm, movement, and human connection—the award-winning showroom brought together the Michael Ford Collection with complementary textiles, wallcoverings, acoustic solutions, architectural elements, and thoughtfully selected furnishings, including several exceptional pieces from Boss Design.
Inspired by the influence of hip hop culture on the built environment, these layered elements created a cohesive design story where furnishings and materials worked together to shape the visitor experience.
Within Translation, the showroom's arrival experience, the Boss Design Beau Sofa showcased Michael Ford's Dance Off upholstery in Too Blue, with soft, organic curves that encouraged a sense of relaxation and openness. The Brooke Table Collection completed the setting, complementing the space with soft geometry and refined detailing.
Boss Design Paloma Bar Stools featured Bronx Composition in Hot Line, pairing the textile’s architectural influence with Paloma’s sculptural lines. Together, the shaped furnishings and expressive textiles reinforced the ethos of movement, form, and energy.
A Fresh Perspective
The collaboration brought together different specialties under one shared vision, creating a new context for both Boss Design furnishings and Momentum materials.

“It was great seeing Beau and Paloma in a different design language. Pairing them with Michael Ford's textiles brought out a side of the pieces we don't always get to show. That's what a good collaboration should do—let each brand's work speak through the others.”
